1. So I’m working with a new photo I took while in Rottenburg for my next painting composition.  The original was so bright and daytime-ish so I’ve been working for the last hour on making it look more more ‘dusk’ without loosing detail (thank you adjustment layers on photoshop!). The funny thing is, though I work from photography as a reference, I really don’t work from the photo that much while I’m actually painting. I guess its more of a way to hone in on what I’ll be working on next.  
Anyway, here is a glimpse of how I prefer to see the world (click through for more detail)
